The D9 is a force for good. Here in Southeast Michigan, every year, we raise tens of thousands of dollars to send young people to college. We provide food, clothing, medical support, and encouragement to people in dire need. We educate the vulnerable about law enforcement, employment and voting. Yet, we have unimaginable potential to respond even more effectively to our communities' challenges—as the times demand.

In the 2025-26 program year, the NPHC of Ann Arbor is helping the D9 to unleash creative new possibilities for impact. We are emphasizing reciprocal support among D9 organizations to take our existing, individual-organization, community-service programs to new heights. We are collaborating with the D9 on targeted, well-planned, cooperative action in two categories, focused on serving young people in our communities: civic engagement, and academic and career support.

If you are a D9 member new to our area, or a D9 member who has been in the area but is currently unaffiliated with your local chapter, we encourage you to reconnect with your fraternity or sorority and rekindle that Greek spirit. If you are currently affiliated with a local D9 chapter, we thank you for all you do for our shared mission.
